My Close Circle is a private space shared between people who invite each other. This policy describes exactly what the app stores and who can see it.

What is stored

• Your account: a display name, a timezone, an accent colour, and either a username with a hashed password or the identifier Apple returns from Sign in with Apple. Passwords are stored only as a PBKDF2-SHA256 hash and cannot be read back.
• What you share: posts, replies, reactions, calendar events, and photos or videos you upload.
• Devices: a push notification token per device, so the app can tell you when someone shares something.

Who can see it

Only the people in the same space as you. Every piece of content is stored against a space identifier, and every query is filtered by it — content cannot be returned to someone outside that space. Spaces are isolated from one another even when you belong to several.

What is not done

• Your content is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.
• There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracker.
• Nothing you write or upload is used to train any model.
• There is no profile built about you and no data broker involved.

Where it lives

Data is held on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 for records, R2 for photos and videos). Weather and air quality are fetched from Open-Meteo using only a city derived from your chosen timezone — never a device location, which the app does not request.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account removes your account permanently, from inside the app. Your session stops working immediately. If you are the last person in a space, everything in that space is deleted with it. If someone else is still there, what you shared with them remains, because it is their history too.

Children

My Close Circle is not directed at children under 13 and accounts are not knowingly created for them.
